Margo

Margo and Rita - Growing Up Fast

Margo and Rita were rescued from a hard outdoor life as stray kittens when they were still quite young. Their rescuer brought them to us to find a permanent home. Unfortunately, that has not yet happened. They have been here a very long time for kittens. We believe the primary reason is their "skittishness". They are very timid and are afraid of being handled.

Over the months that they have been here, several Volunteers and members of the Staff have spent time with these two, trying to socialize them. They have grown friendly with those that work with them a lot, but remain timid around strangers.

Rita

They were adopted out for a while, but they hid from their adoptive owner and she felt that they needed a different environment, so she brought them back. Their new owner will need to be very patient and give them a long time to acclimate to their new setting.

If you would like more information on Margo and/or Rita, please contact us.
