Diamonds in the Ruff

Finding loving homes for our overlooked dogs and cats

Meet Linus

Get to know the Diamond

Linus is a petite boy who will easily steal your heart! This sweetheart still acts like a kitten and loves playtime, whether with toys or his kitty pals. He does wonderfully with other kitties who either just chill or are gentle players. He has made many friends during his stay at Buddy Dog, but his current pal, East, is clearly his favorite. He would love a home with his little panther pal if possible! You can read more about East back at our Adoptable Cats page, here.

Linus walks with a slight prance and it is always a little sideways due to an old injury, but it's just become another one of his charms! His balance may not be as perfect as some other cats, but it's still good enough to run and play so he's happy. He also LOVES food, which can actually be a problem here as he has a chicken allergy and likes to steal food. He happily munches on his dry kibble and will come running for canned food or treats!

He may be a little shy with new people, but is a gentle and loving boy. He is quick to greet new kitties and even dogs at the shelter (but doesn't like super bouncy pups) and warms up quickly to new humans. He does need a little help with keeping his eyes booger-free, which he accepts. He was even good for his vet checks! Something many cats cannot boast about. Whoever is lucky enough to have Linus in their life, he is sure to light it up!
